“ Fantastic service, delicious deserts, and enjoyable beverages. The staff and service at The Whip made our visit wonderful. ”
“ The was the best dining experience my partner and I had in Stowe. All the food & drinks were delicious and the service and atmosphere were lovely. We went in November and they had the cutest lights up making the whole place super cozy. Our serve was attentive and even brought us warm bowls of water with lemon to rinse our hands after having the mussels (which were to die for). 100/10 would recommend! My only tip would be to make a reservation, ESPECIALLY if you’re going during the busy season(s)! ”
“ Had a wonderful experience. Our server was so fantastic. She is a GEM. Host was great, food was incredible. Absolutely NO complaints. I got the roasted chicken and my husband got the turkey dinner. We also each had a cocktail which were FANTASTIC—i got the grapefruit cosmo and he got the eclipse margarita. This was the perfect honeymoon dinner. We really appreciate The Whip and will be back. ”
“ The entrance was a little sketchy lol kinda “scary movie entry way” setting! But the people were super friendly and attentive! The food was amazing! All three things we tried were not disappointing at all! I def recommend. We had the lunch menu. New England Corn Chowder, Maple Buffalo Wings (you can request all flats) and Maple Creme Brulee!! ”
“ Historic building(must see pics along hall walls), great restaurant, new menu just started. Precis servers. Open kitchen ”
“ For lunch time, there's not too many options in Stowe. This spot had good reviews so we decided on it. It was a bit confusing to get around through we entrance we found but eventually we got there. The restaurant has nice classical decor and plentiful seating. It was quite busy when we got there but that's typical for food spots in Stowe during peak times. We ordered the mushroom and artichoke melt and the tuna salad sandwich. They were a bit pricy but very good overall. Service was great as well. ”
“ This place has an interesting menu. I like the vibe of the place. It’s elegant but casual at the same time. You don’t need to be dressed fancy but you feel like you are in a nice place. They start you with what seems to be home baked bread with a maple butter which was very good. I got the steak au poive. It was not cooked to my liking but it was very good nonetheless. When the waitress asked how everything is I said it wasn’t cooked to my liking but it didn’t need to be sent back (it was still good). My wife got the brussel sprout salad which was very good. When I got the check they gave me a little off for the steak that I said something about which was appreciated as I did keep it. I think that’s really classy of them to do and even if they didn’t we still liked the meal. Would definitely visit again. ”
“ My family of four ate here during our stay in the Green Mountain Inn last week during my 50th birthday trip to Vermont (we're from Texas). My wife had the salmon and I had the Vermont Cheddar Chicken. The contrast between the sharp cheddar and the apple compote and cranberries was mesmorizing and I can't stop thinking about it a week later. My wife's salmon was delicious as well (I couldn't help but try it). Our server was very friendly and accomodating (our son is autistic and a fairly picky eater with places he's never been). Beautiful experience all the way around. We can't wait to return someday! ”
